Casa de Sierra Nevada, A Belmond Hotel

MEXICO When each of our kids turns 10 we take them on a trip with just mom and dad. For our daughter we went to San Miguel de Allende in Mexico and my dear cousin suggested the Belmond. I’m so glad she did! It was a dream! We were the only ones on the rooftop bar one night, we had the most delicious authentic breakfast at another historic building owned by the Belmond 10 minutes walk away, and their pool surrounded by bougainvilleas in one of the most beautiful historic homes in the city made for a magical birthday.
